Martin Vallée

Martin Vallée trained as a dancer at L'Ecole Superieure de Danse du Quebec and the Alberta Ballet School. His professional dance experience includes solo performances with the Alberta Ballet, Calgary City Ballet, Banff Festival Ballet, Ottawa Ballet and The National Folk Ensemble Les Sortileges. In addition to his performances in Canada, Martin's professional career has taken him to the United States and Europe. Martin has instructed at the International School of Ballet in Calgary and the School of Dance in Ottawa.

Since arriving in Newfoundland, in September 1996, Martin and Jennifer established Dance Studio East, providing Conception Bay South with its first professional dance studio. 

Martin has also choreographed Tommy for the Arts and Culture centre, Kittiwake Dance Theatre's production of  The Nutcracker, The Snowmaiden, From the Hip and Mermaids of Avalon. Martin is now Artistic Director of Kittiwake Dance Theatre. Martin and Jennifer have two daughters, Zoë and Anasophie.
