Emma Mercer
Emma has devoted her life to teaching dance and physical literacy. Her passion for dance teaching is centred around inclusive practice, equal learning opportunities and continuing education. Emma is passionate about many forms of dance including ballet, tap, character, folk dance, acro, contemporary, lyrical, modern and jazz. Emma completed the Teacher Training Program at Canada’s National Ballet School with her Registered Teachers Status from the Royal Academy of Dance. Emma holds an associate diploma in National Dance and an associate in Tap dance from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She has completed up to and including module two with the Acrobatic Arts. Emma also has extensive experience in contemporary, lyrical, modern and jazz from St. Johns to Toronto to New York. She is currently continuing her education with the Royal Academy of Dance and pursuing a Bachelors degree in Dance Education. Her goal is to support passionate movers who want to advance their training.
